  • National training workshops on OHADA rules and regulations for small traders and entrepreneurs in Congo

    Description:

    The main objectives are to: i) increase the number of small traders and enterprises understanding trade law rules and regulations, how to use and follow them to increase their exports within the Central and West African region; and ii) to develop sustainable partnerships between the Secretariat of the “Organisation pour la promotion en Afrique du droit des affaires “ (OHADA) and national institutions working with the private sector. The version of the OHADA guide adapted to Congo, as well as a the booklet providing tips to enterprises to go from the informal to the formal sector, will be disseminated during the training. It will be held in three different cities and organized by the “Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Pointe Noire” jointly with the ECCAS and OHADA Secretariats, with ITC technical support. The training workshops will take place in Pointe-Noire on 4-5 avril; Brazzaville on 7-8 avril; and Owando on 11-12 avril.
