  • ITC’s three-weekly Business Briefing provides news updates and information on issues related to the multilateral trading system. The Business Briefings, written in concise and accessible language, target the business community, trade support institutions, trade promotion organizations and other private sector representatives. We cover a diverse range of issues related to the WTO and multilateral trade:

    • progress in the Doha Development Round,
    • deliberations in WTO Committees including Trade Policy reviews,
    • WTO accessions,
    • regional integration
    • trade in services,
    • Aid for Trade,
    • non-tariff measures,
    • trade and the environment,
    • investment and competition rules,
    • etc.

    More than 5,000 recipients in 160 countries receive the newsletter in print or electronically every three weeks.  The Business Briefing web site, however, is updated on a daily basis.
